brush rehab
a deep clean step-by-step
rinse
Rinse brush hairs under lukewarm water. It is important to not use hot water as this can cause the glue in the ferrule of the brush to break down. Hold the brush on a downwards angle and avoid water contact with handle of the brush.

lather
Create a lather on the balm, once the brush hairs are coated use the textured mat in the lid of the balm to really work the product through the pores of the brush.
rinse and repeat
Rinse the product from the brush hairs and repeat if necessary. If there is excessive build up in the brush it may take a few goes to cut through the oil and achieve a good clean.
leave to dry
Squeeze out excess water and leave brushes to dry hanging over the edge of a table. This will ensure that water does not run down into the ferrule of the brush and that air can reach the entire brush surface for a speedy dry.
